Have you ever thought about creating an App?  What about linking service learning, math, science, project based learning, creativity all together into a technology that has the potential to provide real life solutions for students, families, local businesses, and beyond?  Come learn about App Shed.  A program that helps manage the daunting task of app development within a school portal.   It even allows students to submit their apps for publication after your review!

Don't feel 'techny' enough?  Come try it on and build an app of your own!  You will be surprised at the potential for grades 5 and up! We will share applications developed by students, share the school platform, and discuss lessons learned.

If you want to build, bring your own laptop or tablet.

Andersen has been using App Shed with students in grades 5 and 6 to build apps for our local community!  If we can do it, so can you!
